The staff was friendly and the private onsen was enjoyable. The location was surrounded by beautiful mountains and fresh air. The hotel also had a nice traditional dining experience and parking was easy to find.
The hotel was outdated and lacked Wi-Fi in the rooms. The included dinner was not suitable for those who do not enjoy extreme Japanese cuisine. Mold was found on the blinds and the entertainment was lacking. It was also a bit too expensive for what was offered. would not recommend or stay again.

Nestled in a peaceful surrounding of refreshing fresh air, the hotel is conveniently located to reach popular attractions, such as Mount Aso and Kurokawa Onsen. Offering Chinese-speaking staff for easier communication, the rooms are tastefully furnished, clean, and the onsen bath is amazing. the hotel provides great value for the money, including free private sessions of the public spa and delicious meals, even for vegetarians. the staff are friendly and attentive, and the tranquil environment with a beautiful garden view from the room is a perfect retreat.
There could be more entertainment options available at night, such as games or indoor activities, as the hotel lacks wifi in the room.
